Audrey Cunat has been Guest Relations Manager at Dinarobin Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa for 17 years. Looking after you from the moment you arrive to the second you leave, she shares with us how special moments are created for all guests staying at the hotel...

Taking care of guests

After finishing her university studies in Perth, Audrey returned to Mauritius to pursue her passion for the hospitality industry "I had a few friends already working in the hotel industry and I was keen to get acquainted with this exciting field." Starting her career as the Guest Relations Officer at Paradis Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa before moving to Dinarobin in 2001, Audrey has been in her role for 17 years now and was lucky enough to join at the early stages of the hotels creation. "Joining before the opening was a unique experience, I loved seeing the hotel grow, change and develop into a beautiful product."

With a strong desire to create special moments for guests, Audrey loves "taking care of people's needs and ensuring that their dreams come true." One thing is for certain, working as a Guest Relations Manager is never boring and each day brings something new. Rising in the early hours she arrives at the hotel to review guests feedback from the day before "the day starts with welcoming guests between hotel inspections, meeting with guests for a coffee, lunch or dinner and of course bidding them a fond farewell."

Making dreams come true 

For her contributing to making guests dreams come true is so important "I love it when guests say thank you and tell me wonderful stories of their stay, also sharing such a unique, important moment in a couple's life with the weddings we create is a real wonderful part of my job." She says. Delighting in creating special moments for those staying at Dinarobin is a key mantra that all Beachcomber Artisans share collectively "as soon as you step out of your transfer, we are there for you, so you don't need to worry about a thing. In fact, the only worry you have is letting yourself be pampered and spoilt." By meeting with guests at dinner, lunch or even for a coffee the guest relations team are able to enquire and cater for guests needs "we are attentive to the small details, whether that be the celebration of a birthday or a wedding anniversary, we like to arrange a small gift or cake for a real personalised touch, something that truly shows how much we care."
