Our guide to Dubai Parks

29/07/2021

You have the family booked to Dubai, flights and accommodation are all sorted. But what to do when you are there? Here is our guide to Dubai Parks – three theme parks and a water park, all in one location. There is something for all kids, including grown up kids.

Motiongate

If you’re doing a twin centre holiday and you don’t have too much time in Dubai, we recommend you head to Motiongate first. Here you’ll find all your favourite superheroes and well-known movie characters like Green Hornet, Shrek and Madagascar. You’ll also discover some of the best adrenaline rides with some located indoors and outdoors, great for when you want to escape the heat of the day.

Top tip: The park is open until late so you can avoid the heat of the day. Motiongate is busy over the weekends, so we’d recommend visiting Sunday to Thursday.

Summer 2021 timings:

  • Saturday – Wednesday: 14:00 - 22:00
  • Thursday & Friday: 14:00 – 23:00

Legoland & Legoland Water Park

With over 40 Lego themed rides, shows and building experiences, Legoland is the ideal place to let your kids’ imagination and creativity to run wild. Prepare to take on the Joker Soaker at Legoland Water Park or take it easy and float down the lazy river. There are over 20 different water slides and attractions to explore with your family.

Top tip: We feel Legoland is great for families with younger children as the rides are better suited and there is also a huge indoor air-conditioned Miniland to explore.

Legoland Summer 2021 timings:

  • Sunday, Monday & Wednesday: 11:00 - 18:00
  • Thursday - Saturday: 11:00 – 19:00
  • Tuesday: Closed

Legoland Water Park Summer 2021 timings:

  • Thursday - Tuesday: 10:00 – 19:00

Bollywood

This is the world’s first Bollywood-themed park in the world. Here you will discover cinematic rides, blockbuster attractions and extravagant live shows. There are 9 new family-friendly rides including the world’s tallest swing ride at 460ft. Take a break from the rides and sample some delicious Indian cuisine available throughout the park. The beautiful Rajmahal Theatre hosts spectacular shows of Bollywood dancing at the weekends – not to be missed.

Top tip: After the sun sets, this park has a great party feel to it especially if you like dancing.

Summer 2021 timings:

  • Daily: 15:00 - 23:00

Riverland

Fancy a break from the rides? Then head over to Riverland for a plethora of dining and shopping outlets in four themed areas, The Peninsula, India Gate, Boardwalk and The French Village. This area is the gateway to the parks, and you don’t require a ticket to enter.

Dubai Parks is located on the Sheikh Zayed Road, opposite Palm Jebel Ali and is accessible either by public transport or by car or taxi.
