Anantara Veli Maldives Resort

Anantara Veli is a small, intimate, adults-only resort set in the South Malé Atoll, perfect for those wanting a private, tranquil escape. However, with a sister island resorts close by, there’s added choice for those wanting more than the one island experience.

The resort features just 67 delightful bungalows all set over water except for the four unique Ocean Pool Bungalows, tucked away on a secluded corner of the island. The cuisine is a delight with an extensive choice of six restaurants located on Veli and sister resort Dhigu. Spice Spoons cooking classes are also available for those wanting to bring the Anantara Veli cuisine back home.

You’ll enjoy a vast land and water sports choice, including a surf school for all ability levels; the best season for surfing is between April and October.  Be sure to take the boat trip out to Gulhifushi Private Island, which is home to a great little bar and offers some excellent snorkelling at the edge of the reef.
