As Mauritius is 4 hours ahead of the UK in our winter, 3 in our summer months and with the overnight flights jetlag is rarely a problem.
Seats can be pre-booked on Air Mauritius. Seats with British Airways can be pre-booked online 24 hours before your departure. We would suggest however, to arrival early at the airport to ensure you get the seats you want!

There are no inoculations required for your Mauritius holiday.
We can only offer child seats on private transfers to your Mauritius hotel.
Interconnecting rooms unfortunately can not be guaranteed - these rooms are allocated by the hotel to guests on arrival at the resort. Where possible the hotels will allocate these rooms to families with young children.

Yes, the restaurants at the Beachcomber hotels in Mauritius have high chairs. If your child is to big for a high chair cushions can be provided.
Yes the restaurants will all puree infants food.
Although you can buy baby formula in Mauritius it may be worth taking your own.
Take as many as you can in your luggage, additional supplies can be purchased in Mauritius although make sure you know your child's weight in Kilograms as they do not use pounds. Swimming nappies are also a good idea to take with you.

Children under 3 can attend the clubs but they must be accompanied by an adult or baby sitter.
Le Victoria Hotel and Trou aux Biches are the only Beachcomber Hotels that run a teenagers programme in busy school holiday periods.
Baby sitters cost approximately £5 per hour per child, sometimes less depending on the exchange rate. Baby sitters are booked through the mini club - 24 hours notice is required. Depending on hours worked the baby sitters transport may need to be paid for by guests. Please note you will need to pay for the babysitter in cash on the evening so if you are planning to have a babysitter throughout your stay remember to get enough currency to cover you!
If you are keen snorkelers then yes it is worth taking your own equipment with you.
All restaurants offer kids menus except the buffet restaurants where they always have something suitable for the children. If you are not happy and your child would like something else talk to the chef's and they are usually more than happy to help. Some in fact have their own children's dining area - Le Victoria even offers a children's buffet with mini buffet tables.
