Then when you feel like unwinding, take a simple stroll along the 370-metre private beach, join a sunset yoga class or book an indulgent treatment at the Balinese spa. 

If you feel like getting out and exploring, you have plenty of opportunities to do so throughout your Oman holiday. With its close proximity to the city sights, why not book a tour of the Royal Opera House or enjoy up-close encounters with marine life by taking a snorkelling trip.

The Spa 

As one of the largest spas in Muscat, this 1,500-square-metre relaxation venue features 13 suites where friendly spa therapists carry out an extensive range of treatments influenced by Asian and oriental rituals perfect for soothing your mind, body and soul. After you've treated yourself to a romantic bathing ritual or Himalayan warm stone massage, spend a while sitting in the relaxation room to admire spectacular views of the ocean and private beach. 

One of our favourite treatments at The Chedi is the ancient Balinese massage, as it's a great way to unwind and soothe your muscles. It includes an invigorating foot, back, neck and shoulder massage, harnessing traditional Balinese techniques to leave you in a blissful state of relaxation.

If you are keen to maintain your fitness levels or keep active on holiday, make sure you head to the state-of-the-art gym which is complete with free weights and specialised Pilates equipment. Join one of the high or low impact exercise classes or train with a personal instructor to achieve your fitness goals.
