Tucked away in the eastern reaches of Ruaha National Park, Kigelia Camp Ruaha offers a classic safari experience focused on exceptional wildlife viewing and authentic bush living. Positioned beside the seasonal Ifuguru River in one of the park’s most game-rich areas, this intimate camp combines a remote wilderness setting with expert guiding and simple, comfortable accommodation.

With just six safari tents and one family tent, the camp provides a relaxed and personal atmosphere where the emphasis remains firmly on the surrounding landscape and wildlife. Traditional canvas tents, private star beds and open-air living spaces encourage guests to connect with nature while enjoying the comforts needed for a memorable safari stay.

Ruaha is renowned for its large elephant populations, healthy predator numbers and diverse landscapes dotted with ancient baobab trees. From camp, guests can explore the park on guided game drives, walking safaris and night drives, offering the opportunity to encounter elephants, lions, leopards, kudu and an impressive variety of birdlife.
