Guests do not check in at a front desk. Instead, you will receive detailed arrival instructions by email before your stay (usually within 7 days of arrival), and a host will meet you on arrival at the desert entrance or camp location to guide you in.

The Honeymoon rate is only valid for honeymooners whose travel dates fall up to 1 year after their wedding date. Marriage documentation must be presented at check-in for each room booked on the honeymoon special rate. If adequate marriage documentation is not presented at check-in, the hotel reserves the right to amend the rate.

Magic Camp Wahiba is located in the remote Wahiba Sands desert and is only accessible by 4×4 vehicle, with transfers typically arranged from the nearest meeting point or town such as Bidiyah. The journey includes driving on paved roads followed by off-road desert travel across dunes, so standard cars cannot reach the camp directly. Guests are advised to arrive during daylight hours and follow the provided arrival instructions for a smooth transfer into the desert. While the camp offers essential comforts, its remote location means accessibility is limited and best suited for travellers comfortable with off-road travel and desert conditions.

Magic Camp Wahiba follows an eco-conscious approach to minimise environmental impact in the Wahiba Sands. The camp is designed as a low-impact, temporary structure using natural and locally sourced materials, with a commitment to leaving no permanent footprint on the desert landscape.

Sustainability practices include the use of solar power instead of fossil fuels, helping reduce emissions and support off-grid energy use in a remote environment.

The camp also focuses on waste reduction and responsible resource use, including limiting plastics, promoting reusable materials, and managing water consumption carefully due to the desert setting.

In addition, Magic Camp supports local Bedouin communities by incorporating local sourcing, hiring regional staff, and offering culturally rooted guest experiences that help preserve heritage while supporting the local economy.

Room Service

It is a small desert camp with a central dining setup (Majlis or dining tent) where all meals are served communally or at shared tables under the stars. Guests are expected to go to the dining area rather than having food delivered to tents.

Laundry

Guests typically do not have access to on-site laundry or dry-cleaning facilities due to the camp’s remote desert location and focus on a short-stay, eco-camp experience.

Beds

Available on request in some tents, subject to availability.

Ages 0–11 qualify for child extra-bed pricing.

Non-Smoking Policy

Smoking is generally restricted inside tents but may be allowed in designated outdoor areas.
