Our journey began with a speedboat transfer across the crystal-clear waters. As we glided over the calm sea, a pod of dolphins greeted us, playing freely in the peaceful early morning. Not another boat was in sight, making the moment feel truly private and magical.
For those traveling directly from Mahé, there’s also the option of a seaplane transfer, which offers breathtaking aerial views of the islands as you approach Raa Atoll.
Dhigali offers luxurious, modern accommodations with stunning views from every corner. We stayed in a lagoon villa that was pure indulgence: a lavish bathroom, private pool, and direct access to the house reef.

Every meal was memorable, from casual bites to exquisite fine dining experiences.
The perfect way to end any day was at Haali Sunset Bar, located on the western tip of the island. Sinking into a beach beanbag with a cocktail in hand, accompanied by the soothing sounds of a saxophone, I watched the sun disappear into the horizon. It was pure magic and the perfect reflection of the peaceful pace of life on Dhigali.
