The celebrations begin with a special White Party on 1 August, bringing together guests, former General Managers and original team members for an evening of live music, shared memories and fireworks.

Signature Flavours Created for the Occasion
Making a special return is the Shandrani Surprise, the colourful signature cocktail first served when the resort opened in 1991. Blending white rum, pineapple juice, blue curaçao and orgeat syrup, the tropical cocktail captures the colours and laid-back spirit of the Blue Bay lagoon, offering guests a nostalgic taste of Shandrani’s history.
Alongside the cocktail, guests can savour Executive Chef Coopen’s renowned Crab Burger, available throughout August. Inspired by the flavours of Mauritius, the dish combines fresh crab, creamy avocado, pickled papaya, crispy onions and a rich shellfish and tamarind sauce. It has become one of his most recognised signature dishes and a fitting culinary tribute to this milestone anniversary.
Wellness Inspired by the Moon and Ocean
As part of its 35th anniversary celebrations, the Beachcomber Spa has introduced an exclusive wellness collection called Moon & Ocean Wellness Journeys. The collection draws on the natural rhythms of the moon, the ocean and the resort’s surroundings to create a holistic wellbeing experience.
Guests can choose from a series of specially designed treatments focused on relaxation, renewal, energy and balance, alongside guided meditation sessions, breathing exercises and ocean-facing wellness experiences. The collection has been created to encourage guests to slow down, reconnect with themselves and embrace the peaceful natural setting that makes Shandrani Beachcomber so unique.
