After a quick 15-minute transfer from Muscat International Airport, we arrived at The Chedi Muscat feeling immediately at ease. We were warmly welcomed in true Omani style with local coffee and dates, a simple but meaningful gesture that reflects the hospitality found throughout the country.
Arrival
From the outset, the resort sets a calm and refined tone. The atmosphere is effortlessly elegant and understated, with a strong sense of space that makes you slow down as soon as you arrive.
We stayed in a spacious Sea View Club Suite, which offered generous proportions, minimalist design, and beautiful views across the Gulf of Oman. The room felt peaceful and uncluttered, enhancing the overall sense of relaxation throughout the stay.

Club Benefits
One of the standout elements of the experience was the Club benefits. Each afternoon from 3pm–5pm, high tea is served, creating a relaxed daily ritual. From 6pm–8pm, the complimentary open bar offers a calm and sociable evening setting. The minibar is replenished daily, and 15 pieces of laundry are included, thoughtful details that make a real difference, especially on longer stays. Although the resort features 162 rooms and suites across several categories, the Club Suites stand out for their added space, privacy, and enhanced value through these inclusions.
Pool Collection
Beyond the suites and service, one of the most memorable features of The Chedi is its pool collection. The resort has three striking pools, including the iconic adults-only pool, which stretches an impressive 103 metres and is currently the longest pool in Oman.
Spending time here was a highlight of the stay, peaceful, spacious, and never overcrowded, even with the size of the property. Surrounded by palm trees and calm water, it perfectly reflects the resort’s understated luxury.
Overall, The Chedi Muscat delivers a genuine sense of calm, paired with thoughtful service and elegant design.
This 21-acre resort features water gardens and a private beach. Guests can use three pools, including two for adults and take part in activities such as Omani cooking.
